We must deter crime, NOT incentivize crime!
Education is the key to opportunity and prosperity. An educated population results in lower crime rates, higher property values, and stronger local economies. I will fight to ensure our educational system prepares ALL students for excellence in the workplace - regardless of race, wealth, or location.

Therefore everyone, regardless of race, sex or culture, should have the right to pursue their dreams, start a business and make their own way.
Dallas County's District Attorney has said that his office will not prosecute for theft of up to $750.00 (unless for personal enrichment). Small business owners and citizens are rightfully worried that this dangerous new socialist policy will cause robbery to soar in our communities. I will support legislation to take away state funds from counties that condone such lawlessness.
I believe in LIMITING the government to the powers enumerated in the U.S. and Texas Constitutions.
The spirit of free-enterprise must not be strangled by big government.
I HIGHLY value diversity and equality. Immigrants are welcome to legally enter our great country. Texas must cooperate with the federal immigration authorities to secure the border through such means as technology, personnel, and a border wall. I support legislation that will require employers to verify the Social Security numbers of their workers.
Lawful and responsible gun ownership deters criminal behavior, protects us from those who wish to inflict harm, and mitigates tyranny by our own government. More regulation and government restriction does NOT deter criminal activity.
